Pricing: our commission, fully transparent

Our pricing
The principle: no compensation, no fee
Submitting a claim with Indemniflight is free. You never pay anything upfront, at any stage of the procedure: no filing fees, no lawyer fees, no court fees. We are only paid if you actually receive compensation.
The fee schedule
Our commission is a percentage of the compensation obtained. The rate depends on the phase in which the compensation is obtained:
| Phase | Commission incl. VAT | Excl. VAT equivalent |
|---|---|---|
| Amicable phase (negotiation with the airline) | 35% incl. VAT | 29.17% excl. VAT |
| Litigation phase (court proceedings) | 50% incl. VAT | 41.7% excl. VAT |
A worked example
For a compensation of €600 (the maximum amount under Regulation (EC) 261/2004):
| Amicable phase | Litigation phase | |
|---|---|---|
| Compensation obtained | €600 | €600 |
| Indemniflight commission | €210 (35% incl. VAT) | €300 (50% incl. VAT) |
| Amount you receive | €390 | €300 |
Why does the litigation phase cost more?
When the airline refuses to compensate amicably, the only remaining route is court proceedings. We then cover all lawyer and procedural fees, at our own risk: if the court does not award you compensation, those costs remain ours and you owe us nothing. The higher commission in the litigation phase covers those costs and that risk.
The contractual details
The full fee schedule and how it applies (Article 3, “Service fees and fee schedule”) are set out in our general terms of use.
